Quickly build high fidelity screens for your Android application.
Self initiated project
I created this kit just when the material design concept from Google was released. It was an excellent exercise to learn new design concept as well as to speed up my design process. Meanwhile I have moved to Sketch and will not maintain this kit anymore. Main difference of this kit from the official Google design resources is that the interface elements are summed up in one document (Kit) rather than scattered across multiple files.
Google documentation is also about guidelines, this Kit is focused on UI elements for your design. If you need something more specific, please use Google resources. Google documentation is by far the best resource for all design guidelines that you need to know and should always be the starting point. Great job from Google on such detailed documentation and documentation files.
Quickly adjust the template document to your needs.
Basic interface elements and layouts from Google design guidelines. It also contains screens adapted for Material Design official page and some elements from Taylor Ling’s Android UI Design Kit for Photoshop.
Typographic styles and colors from Google design guidelines. Metric system is appropriated from the guidelines so all the elements and grids within document correspond to proposed metrics from Google.
Included is a small tutorial on how to use the Illustrator kit. Documentation also covers how to adjust your work-space and basic document setup. Feel free to reach out if you need any assistance.
